How It Works

Simple, Secure, and Transparent

Jobivo connects identity-verified Nigerian service providers — from plumbers to web developers — with the people who need them. Book directly or negotiate a quote, pay securely, and get every update on WhatsApp.

For Customers

Book a Provider in 6 Steps

From search to payment — the whole process is designed to protect you.

01

Search for a Provider

Type what you need — "plumber", "tailor", even "web developer". Smart suggestions match you to the right category, including online services delivered remotely. Filter by location, rating, and verification.

02

Book Directly or Request a Quote

Fixed-price job? Book a date and time straight away. Bigger or custom job? Request a quote from providers that offer quoting — agree the scope and price, and they'll send you a formal quote.

03

Pay Securely via Paystack

Pay by card, transfer, or USSD. For material-heavy jobs, pay an agreed deposit upfront so the provider can buy supplies — the balance is only due when the work is done.

04

Get Updates on WhatsApp

Booking confirmed, quote received, job completed, payment sent — every update lands on your WhatsApp in real time, with a link straight to the details.

05

Confirm the Job is Done

The provider marks the job complete; you confirm and settle any balance. If something goes wrong, open a dispute and our team reviews the evidence and mediates fairly.

06

Leave a Review

Rate your experience. Reviews can only come from real completed bookings — so every rating on Jobivo is genuine. Providers rate customers too, so respect goes both ways.

Payments

Payments That Fit the Job

Fixed jobs are paid directly. Bigger jobs work the way Nigeria already works — an agreed deposit upfront so the provider can buy materials, and the balance when the work is done. Card payments move through Paystack — no cash in the dark.

Agree the price

Direct booking or a negotiated quote

Pay the deposit

Goes straight to the provider for materials

Job completed

Provider marks it done, you confirm

Settle the balance

Paid securely — provider keeps 100%

Jobivo never holds your money. Settle with the provider directly, or pay by card through Jobivo — either way it lands in their own bank account, and we take no commission.

Not Just In-Person Jobs — Online Services Too

Need a web developer, graphic designer, data analyst, video editor or a virtual assistant? Jobivo covers online services delivered fully remotely — no address needed, the provider works with you over calls, chat and file sharing, and they serve customers nationwide no matter what city they're in.

Built on Trust & Safety

Every feature on Jobivo exists to protect both sides of every job — because we know trust is everything in Nigeria.

KYC-Verified Providers

Providers verify a government ID (NIN/BVN) and a face selfie before earning the verified badge. No anonymous providers.

Verified Customers

Customers can verify their phone (via WhatsApp) and identity (NIN) too. Providers may choose to accept verified customers only.

Address Privacy

Your exact address is only shared with a provider after they accept your booking — until then, they see just your area.

Share With Someone You Trust

One tap sends your booking details to a trusted contact on WhatsApp — who, when, the address, and whether the provider is coming to you or you're going to them.

Verified Reviews

Reviews only come from completed, paid bookings. No fake reviews, no gaming the system.

Dispute Resolution

If something goes wrong, our team reviews the evidence and mediates fairly between customer and provider.

WhatsApp Everything

Bookings, quotes, payments, disputes — every update arrives on WhatsApp in real time.

Two-Sided Accountability

Providers are rated by customers. Customers are rated by providers. Everyone on the platform has skin in the game.

Common Questions

Is there a fee to use Jobivo?

Providers keep 100% of the price they set — Jobivo takes no commission on jobs. Booking is free, and you can settle with the provider directly. If you choose to pay by card through Jobivo, their share goes straight into their own bank account and we add a service fee of ₦330 on a ₦15,000 job, never more than ₦2,000 to cover the card-processing charge. Jobivo earns through optional Premium and Business subscription plans for providers.

How do deposits work?

For material-heavy jobs, the provider can set out a deposit in their quote (e.g. for tiles or parts) so they can get started, with the balance due on completion. You can settle both directly with the provider, or pay by card through Jobivo — either way the money lands in the provider's own account, never in a Jobivo one.

Can I negotiate a quote?

Yes. When a provider sends a quote you can accept it, request changes (price, timeline, scope) and get a revised quote, or decline with a reason. Many customers also chat with the provider on WhatsApp first to agree details.

What happens if a provider doesn't show up?

Open a dispute from the booking page — our team reviews the evidence from both sides. Jobivo never holds the provider's money: card payments settle straight into their own bank account, so we cannot reverse one and any refund is between you and the provider. What we can do is act on their rating and standing, up to removing them from the platform.

Why should I verify my identity as a customer?

Verified customers get accepted faster — providers trust bookings backed by a verified phone number or NIN. Some providers only accept verified customers. Verification takes about a minute in Settings, and your NIN is never shown to anyone.

Do online services work differently?

Slightly — there's no service address, since the provider works with you remotely via calls, chat and file sharing. Online providers serve customers anywhere in Nigeria, regardless of city.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes. You can cancel a pending or accepted booking before the job starts. Cancellation policies vary — check the details on your booking page.

What payment methods are accepted?

All Nigerian debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and USSD payments via Paystack.
